Inclusive Psychotherapy
I am a psychotherapist in private practice in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. Beginning my clinical work in 2017, I have had several years of experience working with a diverse population with varied concerns in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am a psychodynamic practitioner with a relational approach but I tailor my therapy by using methodology from various theories including: Queer-Affirmative Therapy, REBT, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural, and Person-Centered. I am there to listen and work with you on whatever goal you have including social anxiety, sex/relationships, depression, feelings of loneliness, or if you simply want to become mindful and have more insight into your life.
Therapy for Gay Men
Along with my general practice, I also specialize in psychotherapy focused on the gay male experience. Understanding the complexities of growing up gay, experiencing sex and dating through a lens of a heteronormative upbringing, and navigating dating and intimacy as a gay man are all themes that I often work on in my practice. I have worked with gay men in recovery or a variety of addictions, and those looking for sustainable fulfilling relationships with friends, family, and romantic partners. I welcome conversations around sex and relationships both open, poly, or monogamous. In a field that can feel unapproachable and stigmatizing of our experience, I seek to create a space for growth and exploration.
